What everybody's way of getting rid of the fish smell on your hands?

I've tried different things and nothing helps, I put a bit of bleach in my hands and scrubbed it, fish smell went away but it leaves the smell of bleach

Real lemon concentrate. After washing your hands . I wipe down my cooler with it too and let dry in the sun.

The soap made for mechanics in the orange tub works great. But rubbing oranges or lemons on your hands then washing with regular soap and water works for me. good luck

Ric you can also rub your hands on a stainless steel sink that helps to get rid of the smell also

I have real good results from fixin and eating a bologna sandwich after or during fishin. Masks the scent and fills the tummy at the same time! Tried the toothpaste with lesser results, smelled minty fishy fresh. Same with ketchup and salt. Orange wipes take off the bologna smell nicely though.

i just mainly use dish soap. but the secret is, dont wet your hands at first. get the soap on, rub it, add a little water and make it really slippery, that actually grabs most things off your hands.

Wife bought one of those stainless steel bars for use in the kitchen when working with onions, etc. I tried it after fishing the other night and it seemed to work quite well. I use hand foam and wash with the bar. The store she bought it at here in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, went out of business, but you might find them online or at a local kitchen gadget store.

I bet that charcoal lighter fluid would work better if you used it while smoking. Just joking of course.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but my best luck is Wet Naps. You can get several flavors, but lemon is best. They can be bought in a roll in a plastic container, or in foil packets. The only problem about the ones in the plastic container is if you forget to close the lid, they will dry out. I prefer the ones in the foil wrap.

When Kentucky Fried Chicken first became popular, they used to include a handful of these wet naps with each order to clean the chicken grease off your hands. I used to horde them for fishing trips.

As many have suggested, I have always used Toothpaste. It sometimes takes more than one application. Satisfied with the results.
