Currently I don't have a boat and I was just wondering what was the best way to fish the missouri without one? I've gone out a couple times this year and fished off a straight dike. Caught some but nothing big. Also tried a flat between two dykes but again caught a few but nothin big. Just wondering if you guys had any tips.

Where exactly are you fishin'? I used to fish a lot from the dikes before I ventured out in the boats.

I usually fish around the buckner area. I know some people who own property up there, I haven't found any other places to fish that are very accessable. I usually fish the downriver side of the dyke, occasionally the upriver side but haven't had much luck with that. I also have been fishing a flat between two dykes. That's probably where I've had the most luck but still nothing big. Any tips and pointers would be appreciated!
