Went back out to Leavenworth Sunday night and took our daughter with us this time. She's been bummed lately because she hasn't caught anything in a while. Husband caught 3 channels and she caught 2. Hers were 4 and 41/2 lbs. Had to keep them, they were her first of the year.

Son has been catchin fish for 3 weeks with Grimpuppy. Daughter was getting a little upset. I was turned on to a good spot so I had to take her out. Couldn't let her little brother continue to show her up. We are taking the son out to the same lake Tuesday night when he gets home. Then we will see which one really is better.

Its also not really fair that Dylan is on a boat at a awesome fishery, and your daughter is bank fishing around here. Id say Dylan had an unfair advantage. :smile2: That and Jay really knows what he's doing at Milford. Ill come out to LSFL tomorrow night, and we'll see if we cant get your daughter on a big one. I might know a trick or two out there.

Sounds great Keith, sure she would love it. We took her out on the boat Sunday, but she does seem to prefer the bank. Our boat is small, 14', kinda cramped with all 3 of us. Yes, Jay knows what he's doing, except when it comes to catching bait. Seems to have a problem with that part.:smile2: Always manages to get fish though. Jay has taught me alot over the last couple years. Gonna miss him while he's gone. The daughter would love to land a big one.

Anymore I get just as excited when I pull up the net and there is a large shad in it as I do when a pole doubles over :smile2:.
