Fishing tip for gills on the beds

    take a 1/16oz weedless jig head.
    cut off most of the weed guards but leave 2-3 out of the 8-10 they put on them. take pliers and staighten hook at right where it makes the curve.this will reduce the size of the hook to about a #8-10. whatever size you prefer just bend it back.

    cast and let jig settle to the bottom. tight line the jig and bump it off the bottom then let it settle back to the bottom. tip the hook with crawlers or crickets and prepare for a slayin.

    you will not get hung up at all. my 7 and 9 yr old have not lost 1 jig and every third cast goes in the trees:smile2:
