Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and wanted to say this forum is great. My question to everybody is when fishing for Channels is it better to fish them before the cold front arrives or after it leaves??

I have had some great luck right as the front comes through. It gets tough after a front comes through unless it is flooding. Then, it can be great. I like to fish as the barometer is falling or low.

welcome, i have caught fish before and after. seems like the best for me has been a day before a big front. actually when i flattie fish i have caught fish right up until a big storm in mid summer, high winds lightning thunder, you would think not, but have had some great nights that way. then when the rain comes in they seem to slow. i guess it just has to do with the perfect conditions for the circumstance.
