fishing the cumberland river

    went fishing yesterday and put in at dover and went upsteam towards cumberland city. my brother and his son was with me we caught the blues in 40 foot of water on skipjack the biggest was 52 lbs and the smallest was 20 pounds. the water temp was 51 degrees.

    Wow! John! Nice fish! Let me know where you guys got some of those reels from! By the looks of the equipment in that boat yall were loaded for the "BIGGUN"! Seriously.......I sure wish I would have been there! But some of us gotta work!!!!!LOL! I will be there soon enough!

    went fishing for blues put in at dover and went towards the steamplant fished from 7 am til 230pm. caught one blue that was nine pounds the water temp was 50 degrees. had lots of little bites used skipjack it was a nice day.
