How many of you are like me and have tried nearly every type of hook and sinker there is for catfishing ? How many times have you bought something new and it lays in your tackle box after one or two tries while you go back to the basic rig you have always used ? This year I am going to try to keep it simple and save $$$$$$$$ .

It doesnt take a whole lot to go after trophy cats.
I have a soft tackle bag that had 5 plano cases. I took three of them out.
I carry swivels, 5 different kinds and sizes of hooks, no rolls, can of Rem Oil, flashlight, head light, and a couple of diiferent spools of line and thats about it.

I dont land fish with a net on or off a boat so I dont need one of those.
Other then the above I drag 2 ugly cat rods with 6500's on them around and some times a bait rod.
