My buddy Cliff has to work this weekend, so he decided to go cattin' today and invited me along. We fished in the vicinity of Marker 3 for almost three hours and caught seven cats, the largest a six pound flathead. Then we went looking for some white perch and we found a big school of them. In an hour or so, he and I put 99 of those buggers in the live well.

Marker 3 is an open water area and we had a time with the wind this morning. Water surface temp. was 82.5 degrees. Bait of choice was gizzard shad, left over Skip Jack and white perch. Total fishing time was less than four hours.
