Well I went out shortly after 8:00am and fished till noon. I caught thirteen BLues no big ones kept five that weighed around five pounds each. Snaggers were doing well on the Spoonbill today I saw one boat catch a couple one of which went about 47lbs. Word is the crappie bite is solid as well although the lake has came up about a foot and the water is off color and full of gunk. I hope the lake level keeps rising thru the weekend it would be nice to be able to launch from the ramp closer to my house. Patter was about the same 16 to 22ft produced most of the fish. I did catch one of the five pounders shallow but mostly had dinks in the shallow water. If you want to get into some big fish, better fish real early in the morning or at night and use large bait. Good luck and See ya on the water!
