Fishing on christmas eve

    Went fishing this morning. At first though it might be a bad day. I was running down the river and the engine lost most of its power. Anchored off and found that a cdi pack had gone bad. Luckily I had a spare on. Put new cdi pack on and we were in business. Got to my spot. Set out 6 poles. waited about ten minutes was getting a small bite on one pole and then the pole next to it slammed down. After about a ten to fifteen minute fight I had him in the boat. He weighed 46.3 lbs. What a way to spend Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to all.I will try to get a pic on here if I can figure it out.

    Where were you fishin?

    I bass/crappie fished around Deep Bottom this morning and did well on bass.....Here's a shot from the ramp before I shoved off

    There were actually quite a few people on the river. I still can't figure out how to get this picture on here. very aggravating lol.
