So my fishing spot in under water right now. I need the river levels to go back down to 34 ft. I also decided it was much too wind and much too cold to fish this weekend. I am thinking next week maybe tuesday or wednesday. I thought about fishing today, then I walked outside. It was a no go. Just made a fire in my fireplace and put on a movie. Made me think. I can't think of any good fishing movies besides Jaws and Old man and the sea.

One that comes to mind is Big Fish. Not really the focus of the movie....but the backdrop is fishing, and a big fish story.

    Catfish Hunter!

It was a huge flathead caught in the middle of the day near lilly pads on a red and white bobber!

You know Matt, I have been wanting to see that one, but I only saw it on TV once and it had already started, and I will only start a movie from the beginning. Wish they would show it more often.:sad2:
