I picked up some Stren Magnaflex in a bright yellow. It's a copolomer line, have not tryed it yet, but I will. It's on Ebay---- saltwater section---- cheap. In 1000 yard spools

I like the new Suffix Performance Braid in 65#. The only problem with this stuff is that it cost about $20.00 for a 150yd spool. ($36.00 for 300yd)

This stuff casts like a dream, and it's abrasion resistance is top knotch! It holds it's round shape really well, and actually casts better and better the more you use it. I have had the same line on my reels for over 5 months, and still don't feel the need to change it out. Thats saying a lot for a guy that would re-spool every 2 or 2 1/2 months.

    Hey Sam,
I just ordered a spool from Ba$$ Pro. I heard alot about this line so that will be the line the I will spool-up with when I go Flathead fishing this year.

i know stren runs a high-pound mono line that is in the fluro green, heard it was alright stuff.but i switched from "berkley big game" line to "cajun line" red in coor and pretty easy to see at night. it also would be a great idea to invest in one of the small LED headlamps if u havent already done so.

I have a friend who uses Andes line at night with a black light. He enters a big contest in South Carolina every year.

I use the berkley big game. It's like a lime green. The 30 pound test is pretty strong.
