I have not bow fished in many years. I want to shoot some fish with my bow and have a 808 Zebco that used used twenty-five years ago. What would be a good line for the reel? All I used back then was bradied cotton line around fifty to fifty-five pounds. There must be a better line after all these years.

I would go with 80-lb. Dacron line for a 808 set up . You can get it at cabelas I bow fish alot and love it . I use a The AMS Retriever Pro Bowfishing Reel with 35 yds., 130-lb. . Braided Dacron Line
