If a fishing hole was totally empty cause of the lack of rain. How long would it take the fish to move back into the hole. Would it take till next year or would it be as soon as the water was back.

I don't know if it would be the volume of water which was the determining factor, or the availabilty of food. It's like field of dreams... build it and they will come. It it has forage food, they will also come. lol

If I remember my physics, biology, and calculus correctly....carry the neutons...take the derivative of the blue cat....factor out the water clarity.... The fish should start moving into that hole the day after you fish it! At least that is how it works for me.
