Had a pretty decent arfternoon below dardnelle dam. Caught 3 cats that were good keepers and 3 bass but had a couple of misses. Thanks Jerry and poisonpits the advice really helped. :smile2:

Naw, naw, naw! You don't get off that easy. :0a21:
Where, when, how, etc. were you fishing? You gotta make a full report.

Jerry I was fishing about 100 yards below the dam at dardnelle on the dardnelle side from the bank using shad that I caught where you told me to off the concrete side walk right next to the dam( i caught a lot you were right). I was fishing as far out as i could get with that 7 ft rod. I need a bigger rod. I couldn't get out as far as i wanted but I did manage to catch 2 channels and 1 blue. I was using 6 oz. of lead. This was from 2:30pm till 5:45 pm.

Is the concrete walkway still there where you were fishing?

Kyle, I will bring you a rod to use when we come down. Have you used a baitcaster reel before?

You will get more distance with your spinning reel, for now from the bank. I will bring you a baitcaster to use from the boat driftfishing as you wont be casting. The baitcaster has a "clicker" that we have found very helpful while drifting.
It looks like I`m tied up for the next couple of weekends, but I may try to take a day off during the week.
