I fished a small tributary of the Mississippi, about 1/2 mile from the river. Pool 19. Was there two hours, not even a bite. Was using liver and shrimp.

Gosh Angela, it sure gets rough. MY friend, FuzzFace. and I went bass fishing this morning. Left at 9:00 drove 45 min to the hole and just got back home at 1:15. We caught 15 bass between us, about 7 on spinner baits and 8 on worms. We are going to wait about another month before we even start cat fishing... too many crappies gonna spawn between now and then. LOL

Hang in there. If you always caught fish, it soon would not be any fun but become a chore - like washing dishes.....uggggh

Glad to hear some of our friends are getting out, in about 3 weeks the white bass should start their run, could get interesting. Just real happy to see the snow disappering.
