Hey everyone just thought I would pop on and mention that evilfud and I fished the White river last night, and was pleasantly surprised to have caught several nice channels last night, and missed plenty more! And are working our way down the river to find the elusive flatties! Good luck and good fishin':clover:

Finally get to see some pics of Muncie White River cats. Nice fish guys! I've been looking for a spot to catch some cats in Muncie on the river, but I have struck out. Thanks for posting the proof they exist. Chuck

Does anybody no a good place to catch big flatheads in the white river near or around ball state

29 inches long weight was just over 11lbs not the biggest but at least I caught a fish tonight haha

Nice fish man. Where in Muncie did you fish the river? I'm new to town and I've driven around a little but all I see of the river is dried up or super shallow. I would appreciate any directions you could give me to the general area (I know some people don't want to give up the location of their fishing holes) so you don't have to be specific

Just that time of year... the drought hasn't helped any either.

This time of year, best thing is to "float" from one ramp to another, or own a jet.

late spring early summers are the best times to fish White river....
