Fished the verde river and it's still moving at a good rate

    I fished the the area around black bridge in camp verde. That area normaly holds some good cat action however the water was still moving at a pretty good clip. I used 2- 2oz slip sinkers and water dogs and the current moved my rig almost to the bank. I fished the calmer areas around fallen trees to try to catch some bait fish no luck there and I also tried the calmer areas for cats. the runoff really changed the look of the river. It"s just a matter of time before things turn on.

    Yea eventually they will start hitting again

    me and some friends fished the verde between horseshoe and bartlett this last weekend and only managed to catch three small channels.
