what is the best or your prefered brand of sinker mold.
Do-it-molds for me.Kinda grew up with em and served me well for years.
The only ones I have used are the Do-it brand. Have several and no complaints.
thanks i bought a palmer first and it is fair and some no name it is terrible have recently bought do-it and they are very tight but havent tried them yet.thanks again
I use Do-it,no complaints either!
yep, do-it is the one...and by the way, i still have a lot of lead i'd gladly give to a BOC member that wants it - no shipping tho....strictly on site pickup
yep do-its is the way to go i also have a palmer an its a good mold to.
I use Do-it molds and Hilts molds for all my sinkers.
Will someone go pick that lead up from Phil, and ship it over to me?
I need to get to the mechanics and picke me up some more lead.they're pretty good resource, can get about 4 pounds or more of lead from old tire weights for a couple bucks!
Oh,Do It molds,haven't seen a better one yet.You'll enjoy it I'm sure.
I hope you mean 40 pounds. The going rate for clean lead is about $.28 a pound. Wheel weights are about $.17 a pound.
Do-It Molds for me. I have some Palmers & some other brands too, but after winter I will be selling them, I am only sticking w/ Do-It Molds.
I got mine from CC. It is out in my shed and I do not know what the brand name is. It the no-roll molds that CC sell.
It's prob a Do-It Mold, I think thats the only brand they sell.
easy way, punch holes in the ground, size you want,
stick a wire loop in the bottom with top of loop above ground,
fill with hot lead.
with about ten holes make a batch real fast.
instead of a loop, can use a swivel same way.
nothing against molds, just an easy way.
I know of a web site that sells cheaper than do-it and CC. If you want it, send me a message. Another site with production pots too.
Ebay sellers get as much as new ones.
