It should start to pick up in a couple days as the fish get farther up river. Its slow at night but the first crack of dawn is the hot time. and around dusk. Somedays are slower than others but there were some days on the shad cam where there were fish every few minutes. I used to spend lots of mornings on that shad cam drinking coffee and coming in late for work LOL

Hey George I wish I could be right there with ya. So far fishing in Georgia is like fishing on mars bunch of rocks with no fish. I cant see getting a feel for this area for at least 5 years till I get consistant with catching rather than fishing. Man but Im gonna give this state hell till I figure it out LOL

I consider the Schuylkill River my home river.

Here's a flathead I spotted last year. The flatheads just lie in the fish ladder and ambush fish like shad, stripers, trout, panfish, and bassto. Due to the recent decrease of fish actually passing and the number of flathead seen in the ladder, the PA Fish Commission turns off the water flow and remove every flathead out of there. Because they are considered non-native, they are killed. I witnessed volunteers removing over 50 flathead out. 5 of them were 25+lbs.

I catch many flathead just a 100 feet from that fish ladder
