we went Wednesday morning,, caught shad of all sizes ,, was not another boat out there,,, they were running 78,000 cfps ,,, we were fishing the 5th gate from the hydro,,got there at about 9:00 and we left at 11:30,,, caught 23 head ,, biggest one was 20 pounds .. was my friends P.B. !!!! made 35 pounds of fillets!!!!!!

Now we 're talking Jamie. Thanks for the report. Will plan to be there either Sat. or Sunday the 10th and 11th for the new moon bite. May try this weekend from the shore if no family shows up for the 4th. Were you using shad or skips? Just being there for a PB is great fun.:Happy: Congrats on gut hooking another pal for good. both shad and skips ... went this morning to dam #9 and caught 4 blues and one flat head but were all pretty small,,, i am going to go up to Dardanelle tonight ( dam 10 ) a friend of mine got one over 20 this morning up there ,,, i guess i went to the wrong dam !!!!!
