Took a friend from work fishing Sat. this was his first but certainly not last time to go out on the Mighty MS. He caught his PB cat (31lbs) and a load of skipjack. The cat was caught in 112 foot of water on a whole skippie 10" long.

WOW! Caught in over a hundred feet of water.

I've marked big fish on my graph here on the Missiouri river (Lake Oahe) in 85 feet, but could never get a bite.

112 feet!!! Wow. I never thought they went that deep. I had always heard that 50-60 was about the max. That their was nothing do that deep. Even when I dive I dont see much that deep.

Mark, this hole is a blowout behind a rock dike that is 100 yards wide and 200 yards long the water that surounds it ranges from 20-40 feet. I've caught 3 fish over thirty lbs. the last 3 trips i made and have had some big fish break off and get tangled in my anchor line. the eddie in this hole very strong and it is hard to get achored. Its by far my favorite and most productive hole for large cats. I never catch anything under 20 lbs. in this spot.
