First noodle trip of 2008!

    I set my noodle for the first time this year and we did great! We caught 7 blues, 4 channels, 1 yellow and a small gar! The 5 lb blue and the 16 lb yellow were caught on live perch and the rest were caught on dead crawfish.

    This is the 5.7 lb blue, he was CPR'ed!

    This is the 6.3 lb blue, he was CPR'ed all so!

    And the big fish of the day... a 16 lb yella cat, my first on live bait!
    Now some of the cats we brought home.

    All in all we had a great day can't wait to go back!!!

    Definetly some nice cats... but.... hasn't anyone ever told you to smile when your getting your picture taken? Usually, the only pictures you see without smiles are in the Post Office. LOL I don't think your ready for that group of pictures though.

    I have like 9 bags of fish in the freezer right now, So I give all the fish to my grandfather.

    Nice string of fish. Isnt noodling in Texas illegal though? Just wondering.

    Yes noodling is illegal in Texas. They are jugs made out of pool noodles and PVC pipe, so I just call them noodles.

    Oh ok. I couldn't imagine you fitting ur fist in those cats mouths lol. Also, getting in that fridged water this time of year.
