Well we didn't start off the '07 season as well as i hoped, although no day on the water fishing is a bad day. me and my buddy definately had a slow time. from 5:30-8:00pm we where catchin bluegill and in all that time with many techniques and locations we only bagged 9 gills. usually if we run cane poles in that time period we have 30-40 bluegill caught but it was just slow goin. finally set up about 9:00 and kept the lines out till 6:00 this morning. Picked up a 2.5lb channel cat early on, which i done dropped off to my mamaw for her supper. But early this morning i pulled in a 12lb flathead pictured, which was a decent little fight. lucky for him, he met my cpr quota by 2lb. It's gettin time I'll be wearin' em out though. me and my buddy always produce. I just gotta account for turkey season and spring squirrel in the mix. sometimes there's just not enough time for a busy sportsman to hunt/catch everything he wants.

    "That's a nice flat Matt"! :eek:oooh:

But to me - the important thing, is just to be out there on that water. :0a22:
