First mirror carp

    This is the first mirror carp I've ever caught. I also caught 4 commons along with it. Had a few break off and missed quite a few. They were all released except one that I used for bait. All were caught on bread and corn.

    Put a shark hook through its lips and see if one of those goliath westcoast flatheads want to feed!

    Good luck!! Hopefully many more to come!! Mirrors are the same species as commons just different scaling, like human hair color

    Congrats on the catch.

    I've only caught one myself, earlier this year at that. I remember it fighting harder than the average commons do. I think they are by far the most brilliant looking fish in fresh water.
