Me and my wife, son, and brother- inlaw, was fishing for channels. That is when my pole just bent and the fight was on. A little flat but it is a flat. Now I know there out moving from a long winter nap.

Nice Flat! Did you all hit the Big Sandy or the Big 'O'? Either way thats still a good one and good news to hear. I'm getting out Thursday or Friday or maybe both. Gonna be pretty nice and the river is finally coming down some. I was coming across the Russell Bridge yesterday and noticed a couple places I fish were about half way back above water. Hopefully It won't be long now!:confused2::big_smile:

Cool, I'm gonna have to hit the Sandy sometime this year. Its been way too long since I've fished it. I've seen some nice Flatties come out of there several years ago.

    Danny,

That's a good looking fish, and it looks like you caught it from the bank, too!

How far up the Big Sandy were you? Near Virginia Point or on up river?
