Hey guys! Went to Hillsdale on the main lake and set some banjo lines last night. Caught my first flat head of the year. 13 pounds. But, also caught a 13, 12.5, 12, 7 pound channel cats. The biggest I have ever caught out at Hillsdale on setlines. Those channel cats on are on my profile picture, along with the flattie. The avatar is one of the pictures from this morning, but small. It doesn't do the fish justice. It was a great morning! Caught them all on live shad, bluegill, and perch. Just wanted to share the love with all of my new catfishing Brothers!

Not sure yet. Olathe, Gardner, or possibly Osage. Depends on wind speed and direction. Slim chance of getting down to Miami SFL.

It was a good morning. The water temp was about 59 degrees. I usually start when it reaches 50, but didn't have as good luck until this past trip. The fish fry is coming soon to a catfish hole near you!! :smile2:  Get the poles and set lines out guys, IT"S TIME TO FISH!!

she really needs to catch a big one this year last year she only caught flaties with me on trotlines but she did hook up with 1 last year but it about jerked her into the river and then to boot she lost her pole
i yelled at first but then just sat back down and laughed my ass off
it was my pole i told her go ahaed get it its a nice one
never again now i just let her use her poles

Not a bad idea. I got one jerked into the drink last year at Hillsdale. I forgot to put my pole clip on it when it was in the rod holder of my boat. I lost that thing like a rocket. But, what can you do?? That's fishing!

Nice catch! Did you set your lines in the cover, and if so, how deep did you run them? I'm going to set lines today, so it would definitely help me out.
