I went fishing two days ago and I caught my first flathead for this year. I was using worms i dug out of the small ditch in my backyard. It weighed 3 lbs... kind of small but its a start... I have a picture of it but I'm not sure how to post it

yeah the first always is the toughest... I built one of Sam's Bluegill traps. Im sick of paying 3-4 dollars for baitfish. I built mine to his specs for 6 dollars. I had everything but the wiremesh. I put it out where a small creek meets the White River with some canned cat food as the bait. I'm hoping I have some bait when I go to fish tonight for flats.
