First cat of the year!

    Ok..first cat of size anyway...I have caught a ton of 6 in mudcats at Turtle Creek this year. Anyway...caught this channel on the White River south of Martinsvill yesterday using shad guts. Was hoping for a blue, but it didnt happen. I estimate this little fella to be around 3-4 lbs. Also...caught a nice carp. Here are the pics:

    Nice catch Scott! It is good to see some are able to get out there. I'm stuck up here in the North Pole, aka Minnesota. It won't be long before I can get out there though. Thanks for sharing the pics!

    Few more of that size and we can have some good eating. That is a nice carp too. Congrats
