Which browser do you use? Personally I use Firefox and wouldn't go back to IE if I was paid (?? How Much). It is a lot faster (have dial up) and haven't had a freeze up since I don't no when. Pop up blocker works great.

Here is another vote for firefox. I especially like the way it works with the tabs.

I'm sure glad I switched. Was a little afraid at first but it sure is a better browser in my opinion.

I like 'em both. Right now I'm using IE 7 Beta. It has the tabs. Firefox seems somewhat limited or I don't have it set up right. Sometimes IE won't let me in a site so I go to Firefox.

Maybe IE will fix its security problems. I use FireFox. It has a few quirks, but overall, I like it.

I still use IE. When I replace my hard drive I will check out Firefox.

I didn't realize how many firefox users there were. It is definitely better than IE.

If you are a guy, and use IE, then see a picture of Kim Kammando, you'll switch.

Okay I'm dumb, what are you talking about?

  15. I use IE only because I have the patience to manage its security vulnerabilities. I have used that IE7 and firefox beofre too and dont have any reservations about either. Just personal preference I guess.

I use IE and don't have any problems with it. Until I do I see no reason to change. Is it IE you don't like or is it ms?

IE is ok if you have the time but Firefox is better. Have had less problems when it comes to loading. I am one the web many hours a day doing emails and searches and updates to 5 different sites. Now that is my opinion from my experience and I'm sure some find IE to be just fine.

    Dale,

Try Firefox and learn to use the tabbed browsing. The BEST way of viewing a forum. You can go through the new posts and open each post you want to read in a new tab.

Also, with IE it is a memory hog. Try having 10-15 IE windows open.
It will make your PC drag. Open up 10-15 firefox windows, or 20-30 tabs, no differance.

Been using Firefox for last year and half...

Reasons.. no spyware, no popups, faster, like the tool bar better and I like tabbed browsing.

Also use Thunderbird for POP mail.
