Findley Lake

    Has anyone ever fished Findley Lake in Northern Ohio-not to be confused with Findlay reservoirs 1 and 2. I am going camping there July 24-27 and some people I know said that it was great catfishing. any tips would help and what type of bait you used would also be appreciated.

    I'm not familiar with that lake. ODNR doen't have it listed on their site.

    ya findley state park, not to far away from me ,its south of wellington on st rt 58. its a place to fish but thats about all i can say for it.pretty shallow the best spot would be on the northeastside thats the deepest.definatly need a boat they rent canoes there.

    thanks I do plan on taking my canoe..............my dad and I went there a couple weeks ago to scope it out and there were a lot of boats on the lake but it was also during the weekend and we are going during the week. there were also a lot of shore fisherman but I plan on putting out some juglines and maybe some shorelines too
