Well after a summer of frustion and four aborted attempts to get the boat out, we were able to get the "new" boat out this weekend. We went out on the Occuquan river today and caught about 8 eating sized catfish on nightcrawlers, chicken liver, and clam snouts. We fished in about 8 feet of water from 11AM to 1PM right past the last marina on the left on the way out to the Potomac.

Thanks. Up to this weekend, I had nothing but bad luck with the boat, and was ready to throw the towel in. However, I think things will be fine from this point on.

It is good to hear from you, Tom. It is also good to get a good fishing report!

Now if I can only convince you to trade that boat in on a Heritage Redfish 12' Angler kayak like I have, then we can really catch some good cats!:smile2:
