broke the ice this past wed. and fished the new cumberland locks. sat there from 6:30 till about 8:30 with no action. from 8:30 to 10:30, it was like someone turned on a switch! no monsters to speak of, but i landed a few gill ,a few rock bass and about a half dozen flat heads. the smallest around 3lbs, and the biggest pushing 10lb. not bad for a spontaneous outing. hope you guys been doin just as well this year!
