FINALLY CAUGHT A FISH

    fished the hocking tonight had a few runs[i think most were gar] after 11 skunkings i did manage to catch one biggest fish ive caught since my pb several years ago i got it at 830 on a live 4''green sunfish it weighed 29.9# and it was released so i can catch him next week lol pics not the best i was by myself. i was excited since its been a while since i caught something

    Wished I would have made it down Keith when we talked yesterday. Ended up doing the thing at the fair. I knew when you called me twice last night that the second time had to be a big catch. Congrats an we'll be getting the lines wet next weekend no doult.

    I was looking at that little river on my way to Hocking college Friday and I was thinking there is no way that river could hold big fish, guess I was wrong. Great catch

    if you was at hocking college i just live on out that road 2 mile but yes there is some good fish in there my pb of 56.5# came out of the same hole this one did

    yes i was in shock been to long since i caught a decent fish. thats only my second fish this year first was 17# out of the same place

    The hocking holds nice fish, but it is very small in alot of areas..I would imagine this little river could be hurt bad and people catching those flats did mot realease them...Good job on the release Keith.

    Roger caught a 22lb flathead this year out of the hocking in a spot that was only 15 feet wide, yes 15 feet wide:roll_eyes:

    I always feel like I am fishing in a bait creek when I fish these small spots on the hocking:big_smile:
