Finally caught a big catfish

    Caught this 8lber at Cowan on saturday night. Started biting real good at dust till 12. Then nothing and nothing the next day either. Pictures look bad because I had to trim them way way down. But you get the idea. I actually thought it was a snag when I first jerked the rod.

    Nice fish bro. A word of advice though, i had an 8 pounder bend my stringer straight. He was on the stringer for about two hours, when i went to pull him in....he was backing up and took off....while i was cursing my stringer. Now i just use heavy rope through the gill plate.....LOL.
