I sent you that info in a PM, because I didn't want to get into any trouble. I thought it was going to happen from one of my other ideas. I have to be careful. This could save you SOME MONEY, and give you exactly what you want. PM me back if you need anymore info. You can get what you want, by doing it yourself.

sorry for the terrible typing,i use a prefilter for appliances or house water systems,i use a less fine filter material ,the particulate filter that is on the cartridges is too fine, microns,i just want to catch the crap n fish boogers,i use a floss pad ,u can buy in bulk and cut to fit any application,i wrap the cartidge and use a few rubber bands to ssecure it,then i fill the center with activated charcol, got this stuff at pet store, the floss pad cleans very easy ,just a rinse n wring, made by marineland aqarium products an it's blue in colorstuff is cheap n works good,i will put up series of photos later todaywhat other filters are guys using?the main thing is ammonia and poop ,esp when u have 20-30 bluegill or tilapia in a tank, also, what types of insulation do guys us?i fish in tthe desert where the day temp is regularly 110 or higher, water temp is important
