fiddling for worms.

    id like to share a way to catch worms that was taught to me many years ago. you need a handsaw and a rake. first you find a small sapling (around 3-6 in around) cut it off at waist height. rake all teh leaves away from the sapling in a circle around it so that you can see teh worms. then you start sawing straight through the sapling toward the ground. the vibrations will drive the worms out of the ground.

    warning tho, do not use this technique on any but your own land or with express permission from the land owner.

    i have been told that you can get the same results by driving a small post into the ground and using the same method.
