Ferris Wheel Riders?

    i used to ride at the local carnivals as a kid, never been on any big ones. here is one that is pretty good size - would you ride it?:eek:oooh:

    i am going to take a plane to beijing and ride it when it opens next year. that will be immediately after i take the Grand Canyon Skywalk:0a10::0a5::smile2:

    hell i did ride one of those.. the london eye.. idk if its that big but its the same idea. it took the eye an hour to go one full revolution, it was more a scenic thing than anything else

    Only time i rode one was because of a girl a long time ago, i didnt see it turning to say the least!!!!

    Looks like FUN!

    My wife always liked Ferris Wheels but she would never ride a roller coaster or any of the fast rides with me.

    Phil, we rode this one at Niagara Falls, Canada last fall. It was the most fancy one I've ever seen. The seating compartments are glass enclosed and air conditioned. :big_smile:

    I would love to ride that bad boy but I ain't goin' to China to do it! :wink: I've been on a few big ones like at Cedar Point (Sandusky, Ohio) and Kennywood (Pa)! Good fun! :big_smile:

    I love roller coasters and amusement parks. I always want to ride the fastest scariest thing they have. But I am scared to death of ferris wheels. I don't know what it is about them, they just terrify me and I won't step foot on one, no matter how big or small it is.
