well as some of you know i am a asistant to mare youth pastor at church and we play a lot of games at youth group. but we have just ran out of games. i think that there getting bord with the same thing over and over again. so my questian is ....... do you guy have any games that you can recomend. good christian games:big_smile: . i really need your help.
Not sure what kind of games you play there but as an Assist. Scoutmaster one of the activities we had for the kids was a Toss The Fish contest. Maybe you can get a Snoopy rod or cheap Jebco outfit...a rubber fish and a laundry basket and let the kids try to toss the fish in the basket. It teaches them how to handle a rod with accuracy. Just a thought...you didn't mention ages.

Maybe a cheap Zebco outfit then....there are all kinds of rubber bass fishing baits on the market....maybe one of those minus a hook would work. One of the kids came up with a small rubber fish for ours...no idea what it was part of or where he got it...LOL...good luck!
thanks ken
were just trying to get some game in mind so that we can have a good start. we have a great youth group team. we brought 25 kids to christ last year alone. thats good. are head pastor just don't know how were doing it. thanks again and god bless
Frisbee(disc) golf or another frisbee game called ultimate. The discs are fairly cheap 8-15$ and there are thousands of disc golf courses around the country, most courses are free to play. Either game is great exercise, do a search for the ultimate game as I dont know much about it. This is what I do know of ultimate, two teams, each team tries to score on the other team by throwing the frisbee to a teammate in their endzone. There is one youth minister I know that brings kids to the course occasionally, but they seem to like the ultimate more.
up here we have a game called corn hole were you thru bags at these baords and score it like hourse shoe. antother is hill billy golf where you make these stands and tie two golf balls together and tose the at this stand with thre rungsa all are easy to make and would be a good project to build one week end and play where on out.
Rob from the website I posted it doesnt look like 20 people per team would be too many. Looks like thats what most teams have, you could play on a football field or soccer field or a regular field. The rules are posted on the website. Maybe you could do 10 on a team and have a small tourney. I think ultimate would be the cheapest way to go and the most fun for the whole group. I think you can buy ultimate discs at Dicks sporting goods or order from the internet.
The disc golf is my favorite its just like ball golf, throw from tee put the disc in the hole, basket. Everyone would need their own frisbees for the golfing and you would have to take them to a course. Or you could make up your own course with objects like trashcans. Either would be a great competitive non contact sport.
If you have any other questions please ask. You may want to search the net for any local clubs that could give demonstrations or maybe even a few goodies to get you started.

I agree with Mlohre,on the hillbilly golf, it will keep kids-adults entertained for a weekend.(We did at family campout a month ago) . You don't have to worry about anybody getting hurt like with horseshoes. If you decide to make a set do a search for the plans using "hillbilly golf" or "Bolo toss"
