I have fished the dam for years and done real well using small suckers for bait.the best time of the year is in mid summer there.

also for those that do not know ,the north platt river has some great catfish in it.i caught several nice cats in casper on the north platt river fishing for trout using night crawlers and cut bait

Well, Post photos, (if you can), we all LOVE photos and fish stories around here...

as I've been musing about for the last little while, The Country is full of great cat-fishing places NOT well represented or talked about in the BOC. espacially in the local state forums you'll more than welcome to pull up a seat and shoot the bull...

conversation this time of the year, Just in PA, has included everything from icefishing to goals. And of course you can always get more specific information about the FISH, the tackle, and other fish, In other forums...

When I'm feeling a little bored and lonely and fishless; I start roaming to all kinds of places; I figure someones going to have to be pretty rude to get me to stay out of a thread I find interesting (whether its local or not)!

you say you caught cats fishing in Casper? i have always assumed there was only cats below the power plant and on downstream. Glendo is where i usually go but if i can fish from my backyard that would be great...
