feed

    Ive got a bunch of gills that Im not going to use in the
    next few days what can I feed them to keep them
    healthy???
    any input would be a great help.

    you can go to any feed store and buy fish food by the lb.or you can feed them cheerios or nite crawlers just remember when you feed them they poop and that causes the ph to get high in a hurry and kill your bait.a little baking soda in your water ever 3 or 4 days will keep the ph under control.by the way a ph kit can be had for a few dollars from your local wally world.its in the pet supply dept.

    some pet shops carry trout chow to gut load their crickets. it is the same thing they feed channel cats in the hatchery, ground and pelleted fish meal. it's like $1.00 a pound, and a pound will go a long way feeing them twice a week. some feed stores might carry it too.
