I don't think I really have a favorite. I tend to shop products and prices. I guess I get most of my stuff from Boater's World, Wal-mart, Dick's Sporting goods and so on. I also try to keep my money local to help my community.

I buy more at Academy. But, sometimes, I can only find what I want at Wal-Mart, or Gander Mountain, or, rarely, Sports Authority (mainly when they close out what doesn't sell). I'd shop a bit more often at Bass Pro, but its 50 miles away. As for buying online, it doesn't pay for terminal tackle, mostly what I need. And, Academy's prices on Abu reels is as good or better than anyone else, including Wal-Mart.

Well I have only three good places near buy, Gander Mountain, Mills Fleet Farm and Wal mart.
Gander Mountain is the closest and has the largest selection though I prefer Fleet Farm and Wal mart prices.

My favorite is Cabela's mail order for things I can't get at Walmart. Cabela's warranty is as good or better than Walmart. Bass Pro mail order warranty is not as good.
I do enjoy going to the Bass Pro store at Springfield.

For those of you with an Academy store nearby, break a rod you buy there, take it back three years later, and get an exchange, no questions asked. Can't beat that warranty. Bass Pro will take a rod back, but its a pain, as is the long wait at Wally World.

If Wally World doesn't have it, I don't need it.

Unless I drive to Tulsa or Joplin, there isn't much around this area?
The way gas prices are, I'd rather drive a mile to Wally World, then drive 40 - 50 to Tulsa or Joplin.

We have a Bass Pro Shop in Council Bluffs Iowa, but right now, as we thread, there is a Cabela's being built here in La Vista. Every time I go to Bass pro, and ask for tips on catfishing, I get these looks like I'm speaking an alien language. They got lots of gear to sell, but they almost turn their nose up at me when I tell them I love to fish for catfish. I'm hopin Cabelas wont be that way. But my current favorite store is our Super Wal Mart. Lots of toys for me, I mean my kids, yeah, my kids!
