I was wandering what everyone's all time favorite song is and what are your reasons behind it?

Being a music lover, I understand it's hard to pick just one, but if I had to I would select "Choices" by George Jones. Such a simple ballad, with so much meaning. A song that everyone in the world can relate to regardless of their social status or their musical preference. I just can't help becoming humbled after hearing this song.

    Look forward to everyone's responses,
    Garrett

You didn't specify country, rock n roll, jazz, blues, etc. So my favorite is Victory in Jesus. That's my reason too.

That is by far the most hardest question that could be asked. My favorite changes with my mood.
Hard Rock - Flight of Icarus - Iron Maiden
Techno Rock - Ashes in the Brittle air - Black Tape for a Blue Girl
Soft Rock - Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton (Realisticly almost anything by him)
New Country - Beers for my horses - Toby Keith and WIllie Nelson
Old Country - Thats tough one I really dont know alot but I like most of it
Jazz - Kitaro (Its like Japanese new wave Jazz but its great music (its all synthisized so maybe it would be something else))
Soul - Lean on me or Brother - Marvin Gaye
New Gospel - I can only Imagine - Mercy Me (Got to be one of the best written songs IMHO)
Old Gospel Regular - In the Garden
Old Gospel Christmas - Ava Maria

Thats about all I can think of right now more to come

I cant pick just one song. My favorite song changes depending on which Bob Seger cd I am listening to at the time. I could list maybe 20 or more of his songs that I could call my fav. The only concrete thing for me is that Bob Seger is my favorite singer.

Copperhead Road by Steve Earl- based on a true story by the way.

Just growing up in the South in the foothills of the Appalachian Mts. That song speaks to me. I get chills every single time I here those bagpipes and the mandoline kick of in that D run.

When you say nothing at all. Im especially fond of the Keith Whitley version where as Alison Krauss does a phenominal job as well.

Sunday morning sidewalk by Johnny Cash is right beside them.
