I have caught some nice carp on strange things. I had some trout get freezer burned so I said "well I'll just use it for bait"....so I toss a finger sized chunk of it out and went about trying to catch actual live bait from the area I was fishing. I get a big pull on the rod and I am thinking catfish...of course.
