Farm raised channel are usally feed pellets. What are some good baits to catch them on.
not sure, but i would try chicken liver treated with garlick powder
Anything really. I do well with chicken livers and sonny in ponds stocked with channel.
You can't go wrong with chicken liver
heck for farm raised channels nightcrawlers would probably get plenty.
I have a bud that has a pond in S. Illinois thats full of channels. He feeds them pellets regularly and we catch them on dip bait and crawlers. They seem to do best on the dip bait though.
i like to use danny kings punch bait in ponds.. also do pretty good on shrimp, cut shad, and the almighty nighty
We use small pieces of deer liver in a pond we fish...Works great and it won't come off the hook, multiple fish on one bait....
I do pretty good on shrimp.
nightcrawlers or liver, maybe cut hotdogs
I use skipjack guts...Sometimes I'll use creek chubs...I just hate buying bait..
