The bite for all catfish will increase as the cooler weather begins to hit. From sep-late oct the catfish will be exceptionally agressive as they begin to fatten up to prepare for winter time. This window of opportunity is missed by a good deal of fishermen that turn their focus towards hunting

Fall is a great time to go flatheadin'. I've done pretty well on the Maumee with cut shad in the fall. Looking forward to getting out there a night or two before the really cold weather sets in.
