I've been in the Smokies during the fall season, and it is absolutely stunning. It's too bad we were running around sightseeing instead of taking it all in. That's my idea of a vacation: sitting back and enjoying God's wonderful creation.

Just heard on the news that the fall color at the upper elevations in North Carolina is at about 70%. It should be close to it's peak next weekend. If you are around that area, you should try to make the drive. It's well worth it!
