Fall catfishing from the bank!

    I am going to the dam on lay lake up the road for me, I am wondering do you guys have anytips on catching fall catfish from the bank I am going to use my slip float rig and three way siwviel rig on the bottom. Bait chicken livers and worms.

    run circle hooks and no clicker they will drop the bait everytime in cold water:wink:

    I've been using cut bluegill with fair success early in the mornings at Melton Hill Dam on channels from about 14" to 27". They seem to like the cut bait better than nightcrawlers, but I got one on a 4" live crawfish.

    Try nightcrawlers and some liver, just try and cast cast out as far as possible.
