I was on my last day of my NASCAR weekend vacation when I decided to go check out Lake Grapevine.I went across the dam and turned left into a nice park. It was kinda windy so I found a place beside some cliffs out of the wind. I set out my poles and wham,a big 5# Blue hit my line.WOW I wasnt there 5 min and the fight was on. I was using only DK's Punch bait, I ended up staying the about 3 Hr's because I had to go back to work that night 7 PM. I ended catching 15 or so blues from 1 to 8#s. I never thought I would be so lucky. That really made my final day of vacation. I don't know which was funner NASCAR or being out at the lake. I think its was a close draw. Can't wait to go again when I can stay longer. NASCAR and TEXAS cats rule. Hope Clint Boyer will pull off the upset? Cant wait until I can take some live perck or bluegill out there.:0a26:

Across from the Gaylord. I guess it would be the north side.
