Evinrude pics

    i finely got the pics on the computer of the old evinrude i bought from okccatman( 1953 15h/p) and i think he got it off another boc brother,(so 3 boc brothers to date that i know of) but i had the lower end replaced and a few things up top done and i paint job so here she is!

    I'm probably wrong but I thought it was a 1954 15 hp.

    Aren't you the one I sent that tiller grip to for that engine. If it is did it work ok. That Ole motor looks good. Those things were almost bullet proof

    Used to run one like that when I was growing up on the banks of the Tn river.
    Sure would make people mad that did not know you had to keep the gas tank cap tight for it to run. LOL

    Jeremy, it sure looks good. You did a great job!

    My 2nd motor was a new 1973 Evinrude 15 HP. Used it 20 years, no problems other than sometimes it was hard to find the right fuel mixture for the higher altitudes in Colorado.

    It actually is a 1954 10 horse. I ran it for about 10 years before selling it to David. Darn good motor!!

    if you run the seril numbers it says its a 53 15h/p.

    I have a '57 Johnyrude that needs coils-Where do you get parts for your '53/54?
